CMGC President Phil Wydra opened the meeting at 7:07 pm. Phil introduced new member John & Joyce Maldonado of Plano, IL. John owns a 1976 maroon MGB and a 1970 blue MGB. Welcome!
Meeting Minutes - August meeting minutes as written in the Driveline were approved with one correction.
Car projects
Dave Bralich – 67 MGB – two issues: 1) a weird problem. Car hesitates briefly at 4k RPM. Checked timing and adjusted a slightly rich mixture. Since the emissions system is still installed, it was suggested to check the charcoal canister. 2) Intermittent no-start. Checked connections from battery to starter motor. Giggled wiring under the dash, problem disappeared for a while. Also suspect ignition cutoff switch. Still working on problem since it is intermittent!!

Old Business
Natter N Noggin – meeting at Finn McCool’s on the 2nd Wednesday of the month - have not made it there yet but we would like to see more attendance per Dave Bralich.
CMGC Website committee - working with the Swap Meet template to develop the ‘look & feel’ of the updated club website.

New Business
British Car Festival responsibilities – Darryl Mayo is needing a member to take over the show marshalling responsibility next year. Sharon Powell asked as to what is required. Dave Bralich noted it required to attend 9 meetings during the year and arranging a marshalling schedule for the event.
Natter N Noggin’ – It was suggested that this event could take place at the garage of Tom Raddatz in Lagrange Heights. The site is currently hosting the Wednesday Garage Group working on cars and sharing camaraderie. A decision to meet in November at the site. The garage is heated.
Birthday – Today was Kerry Hickenlooper’s birthday.
Holiday Party – A voice vote was taken to determine if the club was having the event this year. Almost unanimous ‘yes’ vote. Jamie Schafer will contact Dave Novak for details.
