Left Hand Drive

There comes a time in life when it is obvious that one needs to move forward - today I start the day with a new outlook in life, I moved on - a few months shy of 11 years of experience with a stable corporate company. I decided to challenge myself, as we all should, at some point in our lives. I guess I can say it’s an end of an era. Meditation and my years of experience have led me down this path. I listened to my higher self. My mind and stomach is trembling as I sit writing my article while riding the train to a corporate office downtown Chicago. I know after the first few months I will love this new opportunity that just fell from the sky into my lap – I will miss many I leave behind – but I will embrace the future.
Not only did a job change occur but also the changing guards of the MGB LE, it finally happened. My mom handed over the car title to me. I really did not want this, because my mom and dad drove so many years with their MG all over the country. This was their passion and for me to take over their little car means so much to me, yet I know it’s the end of the era, it’s a bittersweet moment. Just as in the job change.
There will be many more changes to come, and change is good, it builds character and opens doors to hope, peace, and love. Our club is changing - more members joining, more presentations from various people and organizations, superb natter-noggins and so on. We couldn’t do it without a solid team.
Thank you to everyone who just drives our club forward
Stay safe and healthy,
