The CMGC is doing a project car!
Work continues on the '77 MGB that Jim donated. There's just a little more steel to be welded on to make it completely structurally sound. After that, future sessions will involve prep for painting, front suspension re-bushing, and transmission evaluation. Several things can go on at once, so if we have enough people show up it can be productive. This is your chance to see (and feel) how a late 'B is put together. There may even be free beer ...
We'll be working on the car the following dates: August 5, August 12, August 26, and September 2. No project day is scheduled for August 19th due to the JoDavies County tour but if there's a good amount of people that want to come and work we can have a short day before I take off to meet up with the tour. Call me at 708-752-1701 if you're interested.
