8th Annual All British Car Show w/Vintage Aircraft fly-in
This show was held at the Poplar Grove Airport, on July 9, 2006 and was sponsored by the British Boots and Bonnets Club of Rockford, ILL.
The weather was great and there was a super cross representations of British Cars. In attendance were two “rollers” a Morgan Aero, assorted Triumphs, MGs, and two “classic” Minis. The cream colored sedan next to the light green B is an Austin Princess.
Brats were sold by a local church group and watching WWII and WWI vintage planes
take off, land and taxi was fascinating! The museum was open to attendees and gave us an interesting history of this WPA built airport’s hangar.
