NEW BUSINESS
Our annual business meeting was included in our monthly meeting. The following is a summary of the comments made.
Bill Mennell, President. His goals are to make the club more profitable than last year. He also wants to develop more coordination and cooperation with other British Car Clubs in the area. Comments were made that he is looking for more locations for auto cross as venues are disappearing. He has established a new position of Membership Chairman.
Wade Keene, Vice President. He echos Bill’s goals and wishes to increase membership involvement. Contact him if you have ideas.
Jim Evans, Treasurer. Presented the Treasurer’s report and will present a report quarterly. We are more financially stable this year than last.
Mike Hirsch, Secretary. No report. Normally the Secretary would report on the membership, but with the new position of Membership Chairman, delegated this report.
Dave Ransom, Regalia. Plans to offer ties and patches this year.
Dave Lieb, Librarian. Revised the library web page and his asking for reviews of material borrowed.
Don Anderson, Driving Events. There will be a picnic this year and is seeking more involvement in events by members.
Barney Gaylord, Driveline and Webmaster. Driveline expenses are down and the website is growing.
Dave Bralich, Tech Coordinator. Wants input of tech sessions you would like.
Dave Mullis, Membership Chairman. 348 members at last count. 180 currently paid through 2004. A directory will be put out this spring.
