This will be a casual tour drive that will get those cobwebs out of your car that may have been sitting all winter. The Spring Tune Up Party a couple of weeks earlier would be a good thing to do before hand (except that event was changed to April 25th). For the competitive types, this could be a good proving run for your car before the Spring Chicken Rally two weeks later. Also accumulate credit for $2 in CMGC “MG Bucks” for this first CMGC driving event of the season.

You may want to bring a clipboard for the route instructions, but otherwise there will be no gimmick questions, no trophies, and best of all no entry fee! Follow the leader if you like, but just enjoy the drive. The run will likely be around 100 miles (maybe a little more), not counting your arival mileage and return home. Location and other details will be announced with the next issue of Driveline (or before). Expect a mid tour break for lunch at some yet to be determined nifty and interresting restaurant.
