MGA Research - Burlington, WI
This information was not received in time for publication in May Driveline. We realize this is late notice, and CMGC members may or may not read this in time for action. However we have attempted to contact as many interested members as possible via e-mail. Because of the late notice not everyone will have equal chance to attend, so this will not be a CMGC points event.
We (the WCMOG) will set up an obstacle course on MGA Research’s 12 acre skid pad, then run different classes of cars through the course, with prizes for the winner in each class. We’ve invited other clubs to join us, so you may get the chance to see some Lotus, Alfa Romeo and other cars in action. Drivers and navigators also get a chance to try the course blindfolded; with no obstructions to worry about and plastic cones to mark the route, it will be completely safe and lots of fun!
A picnic lunch is included in your $30 registration fee per car, plus $10 for each additional adult. $15 of your fee goes to a local Burlington charity. Please register in advance so that we know how much food to provide.
Directions to MGA Research: Take the Tristate Tollway (I-294) N towards Milwaukee. Continue north into Wisconsin to Route 50. Take Route 50 west towards Lake Geneva (approx. 17 miles). Turn right at Highway P (aka McHenry St) to Warren Rd (approx. 2.5 miles on left). Take Warren Rd past MGA’s main driveway to Wahlburg Rd and turn right. Drive to the West Gate.
